Healing Movement

The phenomenon of the gathering multitude packed into each location where the “Healing Movement” being held has emerged as a growing chorus since the kickoff of such event in Indonesia, dating back to August 7, 2006.

Marked by the sea of crowd of tens or even hundreds of thousands of people that many times surpass initial expectation, these events have performed innumerable miracles ever since. Through the Healing Movement, God quenches plenty of people who quest for God’s love and miraculous help. From numerous cities in Indonesia, to several countries across Asia: Singapore, Thailand, India, to some European countries, and even to Jerusalem, Israel, the Healing Movement has evolved to be an international event and to date has recorded half million attendants at the very least.

The organizer of these events, who always seek close cooperation with local churches whenever the events being held, stated that the cost to transport the people for attending these events almost always take the largest part of the total cost. This coincides with what the Bible says to bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind (Luke 14:21). Along with the organizing-team, the local churches oftentimes involve actively in transporting their own congregations as well.

We see God’s power richly demonstrated through these events and stands as a beacon of hope. There were such inexplicable moments when many people were found healed from their sickness and/or problems even before the service begun. Plenty testimonials were recorded. The deaf hear, the blind see, the lame walk. The terminally ill were miraculously healed. Such immense pouring of God’s power in healing which impressed the sensibility of many was seldom so displayed.

Through the Healing Movement in the past 2 years, God heals the people in holistic way. Many people experienced real change in their life; not only recovery from physical sickness and diseases but also recovery from financial trouble, recovery from broken marriage, recovery from family dis-unity and many more. The reverberation of Healing Movement has been thus far inspired many forms of Christian activities; among others healing through crusades, healing through ministries, healing through praise & worship concerts, healing through media, and so forth.

So what is “Healing Movement”, anyway?

The Healing Movement is God’s visitation to His people in harvesting the lost souls in this very end time through His healing power. Instead of using the literal meaning of the word “movement”, God specifically inspired the organizing-team to translate it as a “wave”. This inspiration has since led the people to see the Healing Movement as something perpetual, instead of sporadic. As Isaiah 48:18 describes about the flow of the river and the waves of the sea, this Healing Movement is to be seen as an endless wave! Alleluia!

Now the Healing Movement is coming to Los Angeles, California for sharing the abundance love of God to the fullest extent that scheduled for 2 days, January 19 & 20, 2008.
